A trip to Paris would never be complete if you don't at least get a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower. But then why stop there when you can get closer and really explore the Eiffel Tower?

You could easily take the Metro and get off at the Trocadero station and find the exit that leads to the Musee National des Monuments. From there you just have to walk straight ahead keeping the Musee on your left. Walk past through it and turn left at the corner. Voila! You should now see the Eiffel Tower.

You would have to traverse the plaza in front of you to get to the foot of the tower though. When you cross the Le Palais de Chaillot, you will go down some wide steps and cross the garden. Then you will cross the street and cross the Pont d'Iena bridge. Once on the other side, you will now be literally in front of the Eiffel Tower.

You can then take some time to take a tour of the Eiffel Tower and explore it further. Once you get to the top, you will get the most picturesque view of the whole city of Paris. Now you will truly be able to say that you have been to Paris and you will surely remember the experience for the rest of your life.
